G...G...GUESS WHAT! Lol, My poem "Heaven and Hell" is a semifinalist in the international open Poetry competition! WOOT WOOT! It's going to be published, YES PUBLISHED (!!!), in a poetry book called "Immortal Verses".

Heaven and Hell
So far from home, I'm standing here,
So lonely, so sad, I shed a tear.
To walk on my own, to engulf in despair,
to try to find happiness, but where to look, where?
To run from my life, to flee from my thoughts,
to try to find happiness but still I find naught.
To fall to my knee's, to cry out for help,
to hope someone will come, and save me from Hell!
To follow the path, to sin and to evil,
to take this road my fate is sealed.
Through my desire for safety to the Lord I do pray,
take me to heaven so there I can stay.
Save me from evil, from sin and from doubt,
spare me these things I can do without.
And the Lord came and let me in,
because I prayed and confessed my sin.
And I remain content, for the lord is loving,
He is the one, he begrudges nothing.
You can be happy, pray to him too!
So you can go to heaven and see light anew!

Animal Magnet!

Like I said before, I'm magnetically attracted to animals!

Maria Island

Earlier in the year I went on a school camp to Maria Island, and on the second day (I think), we walked up Bishop and Clerk (the Mountain), and yes, it took HOURS. I was about the tiredest I've ever been in my life but it was totally worth it...the view was AMAZING! Its pretty typical though, that it took us much less time to climb up the mountain than it did to walk down it, well, thats what I thought anyway...but the photos turned out ok, lol. If you look at the top picture, you can just make out the campsite...a small collection of white dots...

Footprints

I read a Story recently than really inspired and touched me and I thought I'd share it with you, it went something like this:

A man dreamed he was walking along a beach with Jesus, as scenes of his life flashed before him he noticed that there were two sets of footprints, but during sad, troubled times there was but one set.
This troubled the man and he said to the Lord "You promised me that if I gave my heart to you you would never leave me"
And the Lord answered, "My precious child, I have never left you, when you see only one set of footprints in the sand, that is when I carried you."

I don't even know who wrote this but I found it really special and I hope you will too.

5 questions for me!

1. Your walking down a dirt road by your self, what are you doing?
Most probably singing to the worlds oldest and lamest songs, you can get away with it when no one can hear you :)

2. You see an old schoolfriend while shopping at your local store, do you, a) Hide your face and walk away fast, you didn't like them anyway...
b) Run up and greet them, you haven't seen them for YEARS!
c) Either, It depends on who they are...
e) Start stealthily stealing things from their bag...they're rich, your not.

c) lol, they probably wouldn't recognize me anyway.

3. You receive some hate mail, what do you do?

Probably ignore it, or send back a picture of the bible or something...I dunno.

4. Your friend wants you to go on some huge, fast, sickening ride, what do you do?

Chicken out and watch them, then want to do it as soon as they get off and make them go on again.

5. How would you most like to die?

Euthanasia, fast, painless, and you don't have to look at people crying around you...ick!

How to make the worlds tastiest hot chocolate...

Step 1: Find a cup, not just any cup though, it has to be pretty!
Step 2: Pour milk into cup (duh) and heat until steaming hot, DO NOT ADD ANY WATER!
Step 3: Add 3-4 teaspoons of hot chocolate powder and mix in.
Step 4: Mix in 2-3 teaspoons of cream, it doesn't matter if its thickened or not.
Step 5: add 1 scoop of chocolate or vanilla ice cream and wait for it to melt.
Step 6: Drink and enjoy!

WARNING!

This drink is not ideal if you are on a diet, it is full of sugar and fat!

How could you not believe in perfect happiness after seeing something like that? That is the definition of BLISS! (those are our cats Dotty and Sam by the way) And is it possible that one of them is actually SMILING!?

My rules for living

are
eight
steps
to
follow

my world...

1. Always seek to better yourself.
2. Never, EVER say you hate someone, its not nice!
3. Be open minded.
4. Smile! No one likes a gloomy person!
5. Keep things in perspective. There is no point in getting upset over something tiny, its only going to cause you problems and lose you friends.
6. Don't be afraid to try new things.
7. Respect people, but don't feel inferior to them.
8. ALWAYS HAVE FUN!
